An oasis in the middle of nature, leading us to a state of pleasant relaxation in a place where naturalness shows itself as a model. The hotel provided us with the perfect getaway to reconnect as a family. We enjoyed the beautiful hiking tours in the Black Forest, especially the Mill Trail and the Shepherd's Trail, which allowed us to recharge our batteries in magnificent nature. The staff at reception provided us with further information about the hotel, the surrounding area, and the sights of the region in the border triangle, allowing us to explore and engage in cultural and sporting activities. We also had a memorable evening of games together as a family at the Ringhotel Monopoly.

My wife says that it would be great if the hotel offered more family-friendly activities for children.

I recently stayed at the Silberkonig Schwarzwald Hotel & Restaurant in Gutach im Breisgau for three nights. The location was amazing, nestled in the tranquil Black Forest area but still easily accessible from the freeway to Freiburg. The hotel had adequate facilities and a well-kept interior. The staff were welcoming and professional, with some members speaking fluent English. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a variety of fresh food. The hotel also had a free parking lot and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for families with a little playground for kids. it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, delightful decor in dining room. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Beautiful views, great en-suite, excellent room balcony and restaurant balcony. Easy parking.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location, close to the forest and on a hillside, was perfect for a relaxing time away from the busy city. We loved the charming local atmosphere and the fact that free parking was available. Additionally, we appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the helpfulness of the staff in offering advice regarding transportation options. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel facilities were also noteworthy. The breakfast was typical German and included delicious fresh food.

Rooms have good size, with private balcony; the staff is friendly and the hotel surround is amazing, a true experience in the Black Florest.

The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of hot and cold options. The location was convenient for visiting nearby tourist sites. The room had a cozy fireplace which we enjoyed on the cold winter nights.

The decor was dated and could benefit from a renovation. The hotel lacked amenities such as a bar area or fitness center.

The kindness and hospitality of the staff was exceptional as was the food.

The view was fabulous! The staff was so accomodating and spoke English well! The food was crazy gourmet good. The veal medallion melted in my mouth. Their dining room is beautifully luxurious and the printed "Guten Morgen and our name" sign at our breakfast table was a nice personalized touch. We felt right at home. My husband and I were traveling on his R&R from Afghanistan and this certainly fit the bill. Don't try to find this place without a navigator though. The last turn up into the hillside felt like we were entering someone's driveway as the grass roadside was too high to see over and around each curve and hill. We would stay here again in a NY minute!

The rooms at Silberkonig Schwarzwald Hotel & Restaurant Ringhotel are super cozy and inviting, with beautifully crafted wooden furniture that gives a warm and homely feel. It makes me feel relaxed and at ease, just like I'm staying in my own little cabin in the woods.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast selection. But hey, that's just me.

This hotel is a hidden gem in a beautiful countryside location with great views from its hillside position. The hotel is close to a railway and not far from the freeway to Freiburg, making it easily accessible. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby forest. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is exceptional. The rooms are luxurious, and facilities such as a sauna add to the experience. There is also an outdoor veranda with food and drink service.

One reviewer mentioned that the hotel lacked air conditioning, which can be problematic as summer progresses.

It's a nice hotel with a good location to the Black Forest. The food in the restaurant was good (although quite expensive) and the staff were helpful.

The service in the restaurant was slow, for drinks anyway (we had to wait for 20 minutes for our 3 beers to arrive) - there seemed to be only one person running the restaurant. Also there was no bar, surprising and disappointing for a large hotel with no nearby alternatives.

Everything was excellent. I like it so much. Next time, I will stay at it.
